What Do You Have To Lose If You Lose The House And Senate In The Next Election
If you're hearing a lot about what do you have to lose if you vote for President Trump, it may be time to reconsider again. The Trump Administration is doing everything in its power to reach out to the American People - in audio form, of course. And if you're like me, you're really not buying it. After all, who has to lose if all of his promises are just a bunch of hokum?
The gentleman who challenged Hillary Clinton on her trustworthiness, Joe Scarborough, did ask; "What do you have to lose?" In a recent interview on Fox News, Mr. Scarborough said that the "Clinton camp" ought to be asking, "what did these women have to lose?" He asked black voters in 2021, implying that their lives were hopelessly bleak just because they voted for Mrs. Clinton. Now, what do you have to lose, Joe? This past October, former President Bill Clinton was asked by CNN's reporter, Wolf Blitzer, what do you have to lose if you vote for Bill Clinton this fall?
The answer is pretty simple, as the old saying goes: If it is not broke, don't fix it. That's exactly what the Clinton Campaign is doing by running a negative campaign against President Obama and attacking him on every possible platform, from his handling of Hurricane Katrina to his handling of the general election. The media, which has apparently been bought into the divide-and-divide divide between Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Obama, is now saying that the Democrats will go on to win more seats in the House and more Senate seats. These false predictions come at a time when the American public is feeling the brunt of economic deflation. Many economic forecasters are saying that this economy will be weak for at least the next two years, perhaps longer.
So, what do you have to lose by trying something different, something bold and new, like a two-minute long Obama hate commercial? What do you have to gain by calling out the President's complete ignorance on Hydroxychloroquine, his ties to Big Pharma and his complete lack of political experience? It's simple, Joe, if you're worried about what you may lose by trying something new, it's better to try something that scares you. Believe me; fear isn't going to help you win at black voters anytime soon.
Let's take a look at some other examples of what you might have to lose if you choose to run an Obama campaign this fall. There's a popular Internet rumor circulating that the Democrats plan to run against the unpopular Lincoln Chafee in the upcoming Senate race. Even though no one has named a replacement for former senator Lincoln Chafee yet, it is widely believed that the current Democratic nominee will be either Joe Biden or another minority candidate. If you run an Obama campaign against Lincoln Chafee, how would you beat out a four-year term for the Senate seat?
Further, what do you have to lose if you decide to challenge the legitimacy of a sitting president with two decades of documented evidence that says he does not have a legitimate White House birth certificate? Would you even be allowed to debate this topic on CNN? Or worse, are you afraid that some day a future president might challenge the legitimacy of the president's birth certificate, which could cause a constitutional crisis similar to the one we had during the Bush administration over the Iraq war?
These are the type of issues that make many citizens of this country uncomfortable about their possible future. The question of what do you have to lose is easy to answer if you consider what gains the Democrats could gain politically if they successfully drag the Republicans to the center and make Obama the president. With a weak economy, a faltering economy, and job losses to all levels of the labor force, it seems the Democrats may need to start answering some questions about their legitimacy and about the trust of the American people.
Can you imagine what a weak economic recovery, a faltering economy, and millions losing their jobs would do for the Democrats in the 2021 mid-term elections? I'm willing to wager that no matter what the media spin, that they will not answer the question "What do you have to lose if you lose the Senate and House in the upcoming elections?" However, should they win and hold onto the majority, it will be a disaster for the Democrats in the 2021 and beyond. Please consider all this and think on it.
